I used a couple of your things with Grade 1 (MS) today, although I changed them slightly to fit the chapter the students were doing in their textbook. I first went through some of the activities in the text and then went through the powerpoint to see if they could fill in the blanks. We then moved onto the "visit to the doctor" worksheet, and they created dialogues with their partners for 10-15 minutes. Then I did a little bingo game, but instead of calling out ailments I'd go through the dialogue, and when I got to what's the matter I'd call on a student and let him/her choose anything on their card.
Your worksheet gets my stamp of approval. I will use a similar lesson with my other classes in two weeks. To be honest, the kids were really disgusted by some of the pictures on the powerpoint, haha, so I might have to PG it a little more. Maybe if I introduce vocabulary first, then show them the worksheet, then show them the powerpoint, the shock of seeing a monkey sawed in half won't be as great.

Just curious: what is red alert?
