E-2's Get Three Drug and AIDS Tests in One Year

Link please that explains the health check given at the 6-month mark for E-2 visas.  The links provided don't state that (and are old).

No one else has been talking about this.  There's always a good chance your employer is full of hot air.  It wouldn't be the first time a hagwon boss was caught lying/misinforming.

Remember: it's not like back home!  Say 'ok' with a smile and do what they say :)

If my employer was paying for the redundant yearly HIV and drugs test then I would agree with you, but they don't, so I'm not all that happy about it.

My test this year was W140,000. Less than  pleased.

A couple months ago I heard about this new MOE requirement from my employer.  But he just asked me to get a copy of my original health check-up that I got for the ARC.  I went to the hospital where I had this done, and they gave me a copy, I gave it to my employer and I haven't heard anything else about it since.  I've been here a little over six months now, and was asked for this at the four month mark, when he got the letter from the MOE asking for this stuff.
