Writing About Safety
« on: May 29, 2009, 11:12:54 am »
This lesson was inspired by the grade 2 unit, "Safety First."

Watch the youtube video:    <a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/68SbAGAIss8&rel=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/68SbAGAIss8&rel=1</a>
Teach the words on the power point.
Day 1 Have them write what happens in groups of 4.
Day 2 have them write the story on a big poster and present...
it was a bit rushed for my students, so if you can spare 3 classes,
that would be better.
