Hi, just another high school teacher, but getting very flustered. My co teachers are criticizing me because some students aren't participating in my classes. SOME students. Western education is new to all of them and I am being rebuked because some of the students don't want to put their toes in the water. Basically, I am being criticized for doing my job. What should I do? Has anyone else had this problem? Did you change your lessons to make them more Korean (bye the bye my lessons are pretty damn good).

I can't find the news article at the moment but it said that a large number of Korean students admitted that they NEVER answer questions in school. Not just in English class but in any class. The criticism is unfair. Just ask to watch their class and see how they do it.
