Jin Air

Cereal:
Hi,

I just heard about this airline, Jin Air, www.jinair.com.

They fly direct, non-stop, from Incheon to Vientiane, Laos, every Wednesday and Saturday. The fare I saw was $633 return.

If anybody feels like a trip to a stunning place for summer break, check it out.

I've flown JinAir before from Guam to Incheon and then back about two years ago. Good service and comfortable. It's a discount airline, so can be a little cramped. Similar to Southwest Airlines in the US.

However, it is a bit difficult to get a waygook name to properly acknowledge in the online booking portion of Jin Air's website. You might have to call or find a ticket office to assist.

When I flew from Guam to Incheon two years ago, I ended up using a ticket office, in person, in Guam and not the website.

Jrong:
Hey how was Guam? Why go to Guam instead of Hawaii?

Cereal, I check Jinair every once in a while. Like Cebu or Airasia you'd need to book ahead of time to get the great deals though, right? Not sure when I'll know my vacay as the boss won't let me sign off on it yet. Still, as I said before I would love to hit up Laos and visit y'all. I need someplace "lazy" to detox from all of this "pali, pali" bs going on here. I've heard Laotians are lazy and relational which sounds perfect.

I just used them last summer to go to BKK.  Maybe they changed the system because I had no problems whatsoever purchasing tickets online.

Good to know about Jin Air. I'll be sure to check their prices next time I plan a trip.

Another budget airline worth checking out is Jeju Air (http://www.jejuair.net) - they fly from several airports in Korea to Hong Kong, Japan, The Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. I used them when I went to Japan a few months ago and can recommend them. Cheap and cheerful  :)
