Great Books for teachers!

(1/1)

Johan the didactor:
The Cambridge Handbooks for Language Teachers is a series edited by Scott Thornbury that I have found indispensable. I highly recommend following the link to amazon where you will find:

Teaching large multilevel classes by Natalie Hess. from there you can explore the entire series.

Is this book more for elementary, middle or high schoolers? Or can it be applied to all school levels? I read the description but it only mentioned multi-level ability and not whether if it was specific to any grade. Thanks!

Practical English Usage  by Michae Swan

The one I'm using right now is Success in English Teaching by Pearce, it's what the Anglo Mexican foundation uses as a basis for training teachers anyway, very dogmatic but effective.
