Some powerpoints I have been using at the start of class across the year to explain various holidays as they happen.

Canada Day, Independence Day, Anzac Day, Election Day, Mothers and Fathers Days, the Queens Birthday.

USA Holidays

A powerpoint and word search for explaining MANY American holidays.

I was asked to do a "holidays" lesson in which I explained some of the most famous American holidays. Most of the powerpoints on Waygook.org are specific to one holiday, so I had to make my own. I spent a lot of time gathering the pictures for the ppt, but I didn't get to use it because we had a fire drill when I was supposed to use it :/ I figured I would post this up with the hopes that someone might get some use out of it. Happy Holidays :)

Holiday PPT's

Here are a few PPT's that I made for some of the American holidays:

Easter
Halloween
Christmas
Mother's & Father's Day
4th of July

Each PPT, except the mother's and father's day PPT, should have a video on either the first or last slide that you can click on.
