Traveling... Gwangju?
« on: May 02, 2012, 06:13:14 PM »
I've been thinking about traveling around Korea and was wondering if Gwangju had anything to offer? Any advice?

Take a look around these:

And Google around for some tips and recommendations.

There's stuff to do in Gwangju, but it's best used as a base to see the rest of Jeollanam-do: buses run regularly to Suncheon, Yeosu (the Expo is coming up), Boseong (green tea fields), Damyang (bamboo forest), Mokpo (beaches and ferries to outlying islands), Yeonggwang (beaches), etc.
In Korea from 2005 - 2010, not in Korea now.  Please contact an active moderator for quick answers to your questions.
