Isn't there a rule, where you have to be here for at least 2 years before you get a credit card?

Maybe now, but it would have to be a new rule. I applied for my CC when my 3rd paycheck was deposited and got it within 4 days.

We all get more or less the same salary right? So what is the credit limit that one can qualify for on a credit card?
