Travel insurance
up_do:
Hey,
I am wanting to purchase some travel insurance for my travels around Thailand, Cambodia and Laos for this January and was wondering if anybody knew where to purchase cheap comprehensive travel insurance (i.e cancellation, health, etc). I usually buy from a company called Travel Cuts back in Canada but was informed that the travel insurance from them isn't legit if I don't start my trip in Canada.
Help? Suggestions?

Hi everyone,
I'm going to China in 2 weeks and I just looked at getting travel insurance from a provider in New Zealand, However they said I don't qualify since i'm not living in New Zealand any more. they offered me a working overseas insurance package but it was really expensive and i don't really need insurance while i'm here. Does anyone know an insurance company here in Korea, who preferably speaks English since my co teacher wont be back before i leave!
cheers

I found the cost of medical care without insurance in China is aabout the same as medical care with insurance in Korea. In other words for most things you don't need it. Of course if you have a major problem then its worth having insurance if you are in one of the big cities that is.
