Waygook! > Introductions
Hello from North Carolina, USA
lysekend:
Hey, everyone!! I guess I should have done this post last month when I joined WayGook, but better late than never. I am 26 and about to start my final semester of college in the fall. I am looking to get a hagwon job in Busan after I graduate in December. I have already started getting some documents together and have started a TEFL certification. I would like to begin learning Korean, but haven't found a book/CD combo that looks decent, yet. Anyway, I am very excited to have found this forum.
toddc06:
you can start studying here. It's free.

TTMIK seconded. I've gone through many books and websites and their explanations are by far the best.

Hey Hey There! I live in Charlotte, NC now and am going through the EPIK process to begin teaching in September.
Congrats on the upcoming grad. and, yes, TTMIK is essentially all you will need to kick start your language learning process. Goodluck with everything!

Thanks for the recommendation, everyone. I'll take a look at the site. Oh, BELTA, I'm in Greensboro.
