English Contest

I have to prepare my students for an English contest next week.  I already have some of my own 'mock questions' they may be asked, but any more suggestions of questions that may pop up are welcomed.  Also if anyone ever had an English contest where the topics were 'reading books', 'volunteer work', 'school life', 'hobbies' and 'future dreams' what kind of questions were asked.  It's really the reading books I'm a bit perplexed by, how many questions can seriously be asked about that?  Anyway any help from fellow waygookers is greatly appreciated!
