Anyone have information on the GEPIK PLUS workshop?

Just found out that I am required to attend a GEPIK PLUS workshop from the 25th to the 27th of this month. Does anyone have the itinerary and the bus schedule for this? Also, does anyone know if it is possible to avoid going? I have a dog and both my husband and I are required to go to this training so it would be great if one of us could get out of this.

How did you get the dates for this? I've been wondering when it's going to be held, as I will likely need to go as well.

As for getting out of it? I don't think it's possible. We're obligated to fulfill a certain number of training hours each contracted year. Is your dog small? You may be able to bring it? The only thing to consider is where it's being held. Last year it was a bit far away in YeongPyeong or something like that.

My co teacher gave me this information today. It is going to be held at the same resort it was at last year. My dog is a cocker spaniel and he weighs about 20 pounds right now so I am not sure bringing him would be possible. The biggest issue is that he needs eye surgery and I was planning on doing it the weekend of the 23rd. Now that is going to be impossible:( He will have to wait another week and that is super sad to me.

I just got it all. Here's the name list for SECONDARY Teachers going. Attached is also the guideline packet. I see someone else already put up the info packet.

It's in the same place as last year which was pretty good. Food wasn't that great but there were some nice trails and outdoorsy areas.

Is there a good reason for posting our full names and school names on a public forum?  The info packet is one thing, but why post that list??  I'm sure the relevant people will get notice from their schools!! :o :-X :-X :-X :-X

I removed the attachment with teacher's names and schools for privacy reasons.

Take the dog and tie him up near the kitchen on the first morning. After you have bosintang for lunch, he won't need eye surgery.

That is good advice thank you. I will contact her. I would be happy to make up the training hours by taking an online class or something. There are just a lot of conflicts this month. Not to mention the 7 afterschool lessons I would be missing, that the students have paid for, and I will not have time to make them up.
