Now this is a board I can sink my teeth into.
What are your favorite Korean restaurants? Ones that serve real, high quality meals. I'll name two places, both in Daechi-dong, near my work.
1. 산내음 - This restaurant serves what may well be the best 비빔밥 on the peninsula. Fresh vegetables, quality rice, and out-of-this world 반찬 make this place hard to beat. And at only 7,000 won per bowl, the price is reasonable.
2. 삼원가든 - One of Seoul's top 갈비 restaurants. Here, you won't find any sweet sticky sauce to cover the taste of stale meat. Instead, you will only find extremely fresh, highly flavorful cuts of 한우 쇠고기 grilled to perfection right at your table by the attentive staff. Quality doesn't come cheap -- the cheapest serving is more than 30,000 won per person -- but once you take your first bite, you won't think twice about the price.
There are other great Korean restaurants around Seoul, but many of them take a discerning palate and years of dining experience to find. Anyone know of any other Korean dining gems?
