Here's a powerpoint, lesson plan and an activity sheet that i made for my parents class. I printed out the basic information and gave it to them in a folder for reference.
this is only detailing some basic rules, not all as there are many exceptions and special circumstances, too much for one lesson. I plan to add on them as we go further into the subect.

You might also want to check out the "Ask the Editor" video series from Merriam-Webster. They have a great one on when to use "a" and when to use "an". It's on youtube if you want to watch it (search for NP8bWU6zIos).

Not to be a dick, but check your spelling before you post things.

It's a great lesson idea, and one of the better ones in the adult lessons section, Epaz11 thanks for posting it. BTW holding.rabbits, you should already be proof reading any lessons you download from this site. This is free site of exchanging lessons and ideas. It is your responsibly to go over lessons you download before presenting them.
Thanks again Epaz11 and please post more lessons in the future. Your posts are much more helpful to other teachers than other posters (holding.rabbits) have ever been, even if you made a typo on the word subject. ;D
