Afrikaner Genocide and Black Nationalism
ndolele:
So it is estimated that approximately 2800+ white commercial farmers (with their families) have been brutally murdered and tortured since 1990. I agree with the fact that they are easy targets for criminal activity because they live on isolated plots of land but how come only 32% of these attacks included actual theft of property (money ect)? In almost all cases the family are tortured, raped and killed in the most brutal way. Even the elderly and children as young as a few months are either tortured or burned alive. Whilst the governing party of South Africa (the ANC) has never ever spoken out against these attacks, their sister bodies (the ANCYL) and even the President, has supported hate speech such as "KILL THE BOER(white African), KILL THE FARMER" as well as land expropriation without compensation.
Why are these people being tortured and killed? Why are their family members being raped and assaulted in the most horrific manner? Why is the ruling party denying that these attacks are hate crimes but at the same time endorses the use of language and song that promotes hate speech and incites violence against another ethnicity?
Were South Africans promised a non-racial economic and social environment that is governed by racially motivated African nationalists whose constituency and sister bodies uses language such as "Africa for Africans", "Whites should be driven into the sea", "KILL THE BOER (aw dubul'ibhunu)", "Bring me my machine gun (Awuleth' Umshini Wami)!". Why is black/African nationalism/supremacy supported in liberal media? Where is South Africa going with this?

Hongsam:
I read the links that you've provided. As they contradict each other and deal with different issues, I'm interested in your take on them.
I don't regard a wikipedia article as useful to any discusion.
The genocide watch artice was written by someone with a clear agenda against Malema. I don't think that focusing soley on him is useful in finding a solution to the terrible problem of farm murders.
I found the opinion piece in theafrican an interesting read, but I don't see what it's got to do with farm murders.
I find the article by Mike Smith in ozziesaffa blogspot deeply offensive.
POH7100:
Hongsam pretty much summed up what I thought about your articles. And I don't think I want to engage in a debate with someone who espouses the separate development ideology of the apartheid government as Mike Smith did in the "excellent read" you recommended. That puts you right up there with FW in his interview with Christiane Amanpour in my opinion.
Gansie:
I'm not quite sure where you want to go with this.... ::)

I suspect she's looking for affirmation of her opinions.
