Japan for a night
sheila:
Take a backpack with the clothes that you are taking for the next day or let them know you don't want your bags to go through to the next destination and will check them upon return. My friends and I did this last year on our way back from Saipan. Really easy. Then you can check out this website http://www.haneda-tokyo-access.com/en/transport/ for taking the subway into the city. It's really close and the subways stop running around 12:30am so you should have enough time. I would recommend staying at a hostel since they're really cheap. We stayed here http://www.hostelworld.com/hosteldetails.php/Khaosan-Tokyo-Samurai/Tokyo/37952 because it was really cheap and had good reviews. Very close to the subway line and a huge, important temple or something of the like. Plus it's in a famous district in Tokyo, Asakusa. http://www.haneda-tokyo-access.com/en/sights/akihabara/index.html Here's how to get to that area as well as around Tokyo Station. Not much for nightlife but just around the corner, there's a really small foreigner bar with some cheap Asahi. Otherwise, you can easily check out these hostels, too...

err sorry, when I wrote the times, i wrote 9pm. But I actually leave 9am!!!
I was wondering why people thought I should go see tokyo for the day.
I don't think I will really have time to see anything, which is ok cause i have been to tokyo before. I was thinking about going to the Tsukiji Fish Market though, which is open from 5-6am. Has anyone done this before?
