I've scoured all the department stores, E-Mart, etc, and I can't find anywhere that sells guys' swim shorts since it's winter. I'm off to Thailand in a couple days - suggestions?

Buy them when you get to Thailand, that is what I did when I went to the Philippines and it will be a tenth of the price there anyway.

that's what i was gonna say!

it's winter here, so shorts aren't exactly in season.

Do you know any1 who's going to Thailand anytime soon? I know loads of my mates have been/are going and board shorts are really cheap there.

buy them when you get there. There are places where you can buy swim trunks but for pools Koreans prefer the tight nut-huggers. I got some pretty sweet ones online but if you are leaving in a few days, just buy them there.

Last time I went to Thailand, the shops were full of cheap western style "swim-ish" shorts.

Definitely get them there, do some bargain shopping (places to buy clothes all over).... I was in Bangkok last week and stocked up on summer clothes. MUCH cheaper than buying them here in Korea.

Have a good trip!  :D
