I have a plan to cover the Dave Pelter book ... A Child Called "It"
We can read a few pages per week and listen to the audio files with it.
This is my year lesson plan.
I used a korean template that was imported from hwp

Great tips and ideas.  I have my first teachers class next Friday and I'm nervous because their English is quite good.  I have to teach a parents class right after so can use the ideas for that class, too.

I am starting teacher training for the first time and Im really glad I read these posts first. I was quite enthusiastic about it but I think I was being a bit naive :) Im still going to go in there with a positive attitude but at least Ill be a bit more prepared for the fact that it may be a disaster!! I was thinking of handing out a survey at the first class to try and find out what kind of things the teachers woulld like to study. Has anyone done this before and if so was it any help? I have 45 teachers in my school and Ive no idea how many of them will turn up and what kind of levels Ill be dealing with... any help would be really appreciated!

I was just informed that I will be teaching teachers 4 days a week...and while I have a feeling that this is just to put something down in my schedule for the POE I need to have some stuff prepared at least in the beginning.  Thanks for this thread - now I have some ideas about what to go with initially until I can get a feel for the group and see what direction these end up heading in.

Thanks again!

One of my schools has a text book called "Jazz English" by Gunther Breaux, 2001.
I use it for my teacher classes and it really helps a lot, I recommend it to anyone
for teaching adults at any level.
