Not to sound like an ass.....but WAYGOOK. or make your own. Ours are much better than the one that the KT get from their website, with key words and sentences, that make no sense and silly monotonuse games that, they not even try to do something better. Just copy from the text book.

I hate my new Textbook, only because it has so many activities that my 5th gr teacher says as we discuss "they vill nt thnk intresting" but we still do it anyway. Because she is too lazy to come up with her own materials. LET ME DO MORE IN THAT CLASS. She is the reason Ss do not like English.

Yeah - I decided to make my own - sorry that u don't like English - I suggest u push a little more to do stuff - who knows maybe her laziness will agree that you do more - good luck.

Hi, have you been looking under the grade 5 and 6 lesson plans? There are usually several. Just click on elementary, low level/grade 5 and 6. This is also a good site: http://www.englishbanana.com/, but they are not lesson-specific.

There are numerous sites that will generate graphic organizers, crosswords puzzles, word searches, etc. Just use Google and find one you like. Fill in the blank is common here. I find in my school that they prefer more hands-on things such as scavenger hunts and singing or variety show type games, and the infamous "baam" games. English is the fun class. It's more "edutainment" than education, let's just say...

Does anyone have the worksheets a since-departed coteacher of mine used?  It was a double-sided worksheet.  Each side had three columns of activities.  Even if I wanted to change the activities to better suit my teaching style or the new lesson format, I would LOVE to get my hands on one of those files to use as my template.

I always put mine together; combination of what I find on waygook, and my own. puzzlemaker.com allows you to make your own puzzles, so you can use the words from the textbook in combination of what you've taught the kids yourself. And you can also google image search and put some pictures on it so it doesn't look boring. I'd share what I have, but I don't have my patience with computers, typically I just print everything out and cut and paste (literally) and photocopy.
