Exchange Bank in Gwangju
« on: March 10, 2011, 09:18:40 AM »
I have some Baht left over from Thailand that I did not convert back to won when I was in Seoul. I tried to exchange at NH and KEB banks in downtown Gwangju, both said they do not take Baht. Does anyone know of a place in Gwangju or the surrounding area that will exchange Thai Baht to Korean Won?

Maybe at the airport? It's a long shot, since they don't do international flights.

Did you try the banks downtown?

Don't ever exchange money at airports unless it is an emergency (and only do for small amounts). You will get killed on the spread.
