Please Give Me Dr Seuss Resources and Materials
« on: March 10, 2011, 02:16:47 PM »
Last semester I taught my young ones (Grades 1-3) out of the English Land series.  I like Disney as much as the next guy but...not a big fan of English Land.

This time around, I get to choose the books and I really want to supplement the class with Dr. Seuss materials.

I'll be looking more online but does anyone have something they could share (books/videos/worksheets/awesome Seuss website)?  I already searched and downloaded the three or four books that have been posted here one waygook.  Anyone selling a collection of Dr. Seuss books?

Thanks for reading ^^

You can buy Dr. Seuss books from whatthebook.com.  They ship everywhere in Korea.  Their prices are comparable to what you would pay in North America.

I think most people with Dr. Seuss books are keeping them.  My school has two, and I own one (in Korea).  I unfortunately can't help you with cheap copies.

Thanks.  I think you are right in that I probably won't be able to score a copy from other teachers.

I do want to ask again though if anyone has books I could play on the computer, shifty or not haha.  I've been searching for all sorts of Seuss resources online but am still interested in anything you guys have to offer.

If you want to do How the Grinch Stole Christmas, there's an excellent ESL version on the grammarmancomics site.

^ Could you repost your link again?  It doesn't seem to be working.
