Someone posted this for their book today, so I just revamped it for this book but same title lesson. (Thanks to whoever created this originally!).
I'll add more as I finish planning.

Those of us who have to teach this god awful book need to band together here. The previous poster gave me this idea, its a powerpoint with Don't signs that worked really well. Sorry if you can't open .odt, openoffice is a quick and free download though

Found this on waygook before not sure who posted it, i just changed some of the pictures and made it a bit harder. The kids really liked it and they where very good at it so if your kids are high level you may want to make it harder.

Here are a couple things I'm using for this chapter.  First is a ppt that combines stuff I made with stuff from another person's ppt that uses a different book.  Next is a speed card game.  Basically what you do is print out the speed vocabulary cards and hand them out to each team.  Next, show the class the 'speed vocabulary' ppt and have them try to be the first team to put their cards in order.

Here is a Sonic game I put together for this chapter.  Lots of credit is due to the person who came up with the Sonic game template.

Attached is the vocab and role play. I added more vocab and two more roles to the role play as it was too simplistic and my kids would argue over who does which part since there were only two.

I hope someone can use this.

A game and worksheet I created. A "You've been framed" video to ask the kids what don't you do...it's funny.
