Here is an introduction power point for 4th grade lesson 2- He is Tall from the following book:

Looks like:  Trumpet man and panda bear
Who has it:  Phoenix, epinephrine9

It goes over he vs she, family members, and adjectives.

This may be a little late,  but my school is still on this lesson. 

I tried out a GuessWho game with the kiddos, and they seems to enjoy it. 

It does take up majority of the class time. Mostly to get directions flowing.

Attached is the GuessWho characters and some questions that are helpful to get the game flowing.

This is a powerpoint I made using Simpsons characters to practice the different family members. At the end of the ppt theres a practice where you can ask who is he/she, and students have to answer based on which Simpson character they see.

Another Simpsons family PPT.  This one has a mini review and an added pass the ball game.  There are like 3 slides that award a free stamp to lucky students.  This is used in my awards program.  If you don't have such a system, I suggest taking these out.

Couple openers a today show clip with a tall woman and short man about 8 minutes I just showed part of it after going over key expressions.
another clip to check out as well, shorter for an intro to class or so.
