Waygook's webserver has been upgraded, and users should notice a significant performance increase during peak site hours.  We will continue to monitor the servers for some time to ensure it meets the needs of the growing user base.  Thank you from the waygook team :)

Welcome to the Waygook community forums.  Feel free to browse the site, and sign up for a free account to have access to lesson plans.  Waygook is geared towards EFL/ESL teachers in South Korea, however we do like to cater and help out fellow waygookins all over.  We are also on facebook for convenience.

Just joined waygook after a bunch of recommendations from friends. I'm excited to see what this site has to offer and hope that at some point I can return the favor by adding some creative things I will hopefully come up with this year. I'm also a little worried about how easy this site is to use. I am not the best with computers and technology seems to hate me often. I guess if I have any problems I can just ask. Everyone seems really helpful on here. Looking forward to it all.

I didn't know about this site until my co-teacher from the States told me about it. It seems to me that so many useful resourses are here and it's also wonderful to have a chance to look at what other teachers think when teaching English. I think to both native English teachers and Korean teachers who teach English, waygook site can be a big help.

I'm in love with this site.  I have only been using it one day and already it has helped me out so much. I find it hard to find specific videos or games for some lessons, but there is always something here for each lesson I need to do.

I'm confused. I thought I could use the attachmetns of this site freely with paying subscription without posting. I already paid but I cant' see the attachments. Did I misunderstand the system? Please help me.

According to your profile you should have been able to view attachments when your subscription started on May 21st.  If not, we will have to look into this.  Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

To the person that started this site and everybody that contributed to it, Thank you so much, you have all been my ANGELS, this site is more than a place to get lesson plans, you have saved a boy's life. I found out my wife was pregnant in our 2nd week of getting to Korea, she was on E2 am on F3, we were scared her contract will be cancelled and we had given away all our things when we left south Africa,so there was nothing to go back home to. There was nobody to talk to for advice, nothing on the internet, we were about to go have an abortion when i found out about WAYGOOK by chance. And speaking to most of you and reading about other people's experience gave us courage, we talk to her school about the pregnancy and fortunately they were happy for us. You save the life of my little boy. God bless you all, i will forever be grateful to Waygook and you all. I guess its true what they say "you are somebody because of other people"

Oh, I finally made it to the highly acclaimed Waygook.org!!!  Even though I'm not teaching at the public school level, I"m always enthused about seeing people's creativity.  And finally I will get to share the 2 awesomely amazing lessons I made during my year of public high school teaching.
