Now mind you, I was listening to music full blast and was on my phone whilst walking, so the sound that distracted me must have been very loud.

I do not need any advise on what to do/not to do and how to be safe.

First, I'm sorry this happened to you.

I know you said you don't need advice but.........there are many reasons beyond sexual predators why you should be paying attention and not have loud music blasting when you are walking.

Firstly, you did the right thing and I'm sorry you had that experience. :(

Flashers get off on the reaction. They are mentally ill. They feel so insignificant that they just want any like scrap of attention. Anger, shock, disgust it's all why they do it.

On my first night in Korea I walked past this guy (fully dressed) but holding his junk and saying "hey , hey , hey "to me as I walked by - I knew what I just told you. So I pretended he was invisible and walked on. I was so lucky that I was in a big space and there were people about.

Thank you  and thank you for pointing it out. You are most definitely right. However, my nonchalance whilst walking is down to my laid back attitude, and even after this episode, will probably not change. If this is meant in terms of crossing roads, watching for potholes, cyclists and electricity poles etc, personally I have got it covered. No worries. :D I think I'm bat-like and have a radar somewhere. Again, you are right and I own up to that.
On a more serious note, thankfully I am fine and already forgot what I saw.

A lot of people think that Burberry men are some kind of joke (in a way they ARE), but the fact that it is relativity common for Middle school girls to have seen public masterbaters is VERY disturbing to me.

Let's not be sexist here! Although less common, I've heard tales of the elusive Burberry Girl (ajumma/halmoni) too.

Been lucky and seen neither myself.

Also, Paul, the whole 'Let's not be sexist here!' comment was not funny at all.  Woman are FAR more likely to be sexually harassed or sexually assaulted than men, this is a statement of fact and not 'being sexist har har har.'
