How to get to Suwon immigration office?
« on: March 30, 2011, 05:18:14 PM »
Does anybody know where the Suwon Immigration office is? I have to head there tomorrow morning and my co-teacher left for the day without telling me where it is. I've found conflicting addresses on-line, so if anyone has been there recently and can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

They changed its location just last year, which likely accounts for the multiple references.

I marked its current location on a map: http://www.scribblemaps.com/#id=w9aV1UFHfQ

When I have gone to the office, I am coming from Yongin.  I would give bus information but I do not know where you are in relation to the Yongteong area.

get to homeplus in yeongton, and then walk down the first road on the right. go straight and go through 2 and walk up the bit of a hill. its about 100m up on the left hand side. wont be hard to miss, its a big building and there is usually lots of cabs outside.

No way! i used to live there... i miss it, im acutally going there this weekend, all my buddies still live there! you'll want to get the 34-1 or 34. you can pick it up at on the main strip. the side lotte cinema is on, walk to the PB on the corner (passing skin food dunkin on the right), cross the road, and the stop is there. it will come often. or a cab will cost around 8k. immigration opens at 9. and bring everything, even stuff you think you might not need. immigration there has been a mission for me!

Thanks De Foaite! Great directions. Byeongjeom is pretty awesome and I live next to that stop so this really simplifies things.
