It's pretty cute and I'm sure it was fun too, but I'm not convinced that there's so much actual learning going on. They're kind of just sitting there waiting for their turn and not really speaking...

On the other hand, they're awake.

Maybe you should link to the other class in your youtube post-- it doesn't really seem fair that the guy who actually came up with the idea in the first place isn't even at 8k and you're on your way to 500k.
This is a crisis. A large crisis. In fact, if you got a moment, it's a twelve-story crisis with a magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24-hour portage, and an enormous sign on the roof, saying 'This Is a Large Crisis'.

The "original version" of this was years ago and the kids look bored to death. My kids earned those half million views by being adorable and enthusiastic!

Ok, so I wanted to do the "Daft Hands" with my student, and I saw that awesome worksheet in someone's video on page 1. But couldn't find it anywhere. So I made my own, if you want to use it feel free.

Doing this next week with the after school kids.

Also, this is a cool internet game for the daft hands, if you press help it will tell you what keyboard buttons to press. Could let the kids try if you have computers? If for some reason they don't want to write on their hands.

Looks like you teach at an all boys school, right?I'm in a rather conservative co-ed school, so I don't know how well some of the lyrics would go over.

Any questions about "let it all hang loose" or "stick my hand down my pants"?
