Rehearsal Studios and Instrument District?
« on: April 08, 2011, 04:25:19 PM »
Are there any decent rehearsal studios in Seoul that aren't ridiculously expensive or have equipment that isn't falling to pieces? I've been to a few live shows, liked what I heard and got the itch to get something going. Not really sure where to start looking though. Anyone got any tips?

I've also accidentally become an electric guitar teacher and only have my electric with me and no amp. Any good shopping districts to buy strings / pedals / second hand amp etc? I only need something small for the lessons, something that won't break the bank. not looking for a huge stack or anything.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

There are a lot of instrument shops around exit 5 at Jongno 3. You will see some shops just outside of the station. There are also a lot inside the big white/grey building (Nakwon Arcade/Apartment) near exit 5.

You should be able to find everything you need.

Thanks for that Billy. The big white building was closed when I got there but I still found what I was looking for in the other little shops. Much appreciated.
