Describing things in a house (is vs. are)
« on: April 10, 2011, 10:07:31 PM »
I printed off and laminated flashcards of things in a house (toilet/bed etc).  First we covered when to use is vs. are and then we moved into describing things in a house.  I'd get students to pull a flashcard of an item and put it into the target language (There is a toilet in the bathroom).  We ended the class with them drawing a picture of their house and writing down 1 thing that was in each room
