I used these for my teacher workshop, but it can probably be used for High School or modified for younger students. I printed small flash cards from Barry Fun English (
http://www.barryfunenglish.com/index.php). The categories were: electronics, household items, food, school supplies and clothing. You need a membership to print these flash cards. I wrote a price on each item and put them in different places around the room. For the role play, half the teachers were salespeople, half were customers. I printed off fake money for them to use (sorry - I think I accidently deleted that file).
