Thanks for this post. I have some extra 5th grade classes to teach just this week so I might have them make an origami fortune teller so this activity would force them to read, write and listen in English in a good way, I hope.

I have an Ipad2 and theres a really cool app where it teaches you to make oragami out of money. The kids simply loved it, they get so excited when they even see 1000won bill.

I liked the "money origami" idea and decided to make a lesson on it for my winter camp. I remember liking to make decorative money origami hearts when I was little, so I decided to teach them how to make that out of a 1,000 won bill. Here's a ppt that gives you step-by-step instructions on how to make it and it teaches you what "bills" are.

I don't know if making a snowflake is really considered origami, but I didn't know where else to put this. This is a step by step tutorial on how to make a six-sided snowflake. I find it's always easier to show a ppt simultaneously when making something. I'm using this for my winter camp tomorrow. Enjoy!
