I'm so happy to finally contribute to this site. You guys are awesome and amazing and have given me so many great ideas. I'm happy to give back.

I made a Mario game on powerpoint with six characters and instructions on the first slide. Sound effects are included! (spent hours on this thing) You can play this game with any lesson however way you want (rock, paper, scissors/answer questions/do the correct action/etc.) for your kids to be able to advance through the map.

Is there a way to copy this post in every unit? I'm going to post it in the first unit of each grade and the index for people, but I was wondering if there was an easy way to post it for every unit.

Game instructions:
Slide 3 - Click on the characters to have them move around the map. They will move to each castle (1-6) and then advance to Bowser’s cave in the middle to kick his rump and save Peach.
Slide 4 – Click the winning character to grant them a 1up.

Enjoy!!!

Here is the new English Guide for Chapter 1.  The entire English Guide is on the CD itself.  You can print out each Chapter as need be directly from the CD.  I'll try to post some more chapters next week.  I'll do this for 6th grade Chapter 1 as well.

No problem.  Unfortunately at one of my schools I really rely on these because my coteachers just talk in Korean and point at me when it's my time to read a script.

The order is Jinho, Ann, Peter, Nami, Joon, Ms. Smith, and Bill

My VP asked me to compile a workbook for the semester..my school is high level and they laugh at the textbook.
I took a few things from this website, made up a few things myself, and found random things on the internet.
Enjoy!!

I'm also attaching a "review package" intended for grade five and six.

This powerpoint is to help expand on the common answers to the question 'How are you?'  Using some of the MES Flashcards someone else posted for another file (thank you!), students get to decided if the response is positive or negative.  It's pretty easy, but will get them used to the new phrases and hopefully help them stick in their heads!

Way to kill 5 - 10 minutes of your class time.
I've attached a crossword and word-search puzzle. They're really easy.
Just hand them out and have a Kit Kat (or Kic Ker if you prefer).

Hey Guys;

What game are you going to play for Period 1?  I know the teachers guide shoes a pass the ball game and the kids really do love that game, but just wondering if you guys are doing anything different?  I know some of the other games already posted are more the the other periods.

Thanks!

Hi

I just noticed on the scramble earlier on this post that there was a small spelling mistake, and also no scramble for the word happy (although the answer was there), so I've just attached a corrected version

hey, there's a 'who am i' story time section in lesson one! i was asked to develop an activity that could follow this section so i've used a template from eslgamesworld.com to create a 'kpop hidden picture' powerpoint game! i've changed a lot of it from the origional template which you can easily edit yourself - just be sure to reference eslgames.com :)

happy guessing!

Here is a silly warm-up .ppt for the students to practice "How are you?" before I ask them how they're today?
