Got this from Dave's ESL. Thanks to Prentic the original author. I chopped and changed a few sentences as you may well do too to suit your class. You might also change the target language from "Merry Christmas.." to "Happy Easter..." or whatever Happy birthday, congratulations...
This worked well with both middle and high school students. In one class even the most obnoxious unmotivated students were running around asking the brain boxes the meaning of certain words.
There is a bit of cutting out to do before hand but with the help of co-teachers.... no time at all.
