I want to get a cellphone that I can pay month to month, not yearly plans, and not a prepaid phone card cellphone.

How much are these plans typically, and where is a good place to get one?

My co-teacher gave me his old phone and I pay 10,000 a month to use it. I forget how many minutes that buys me, but I've only run out once. I don't really use my phone much and if you do use your a lot I would not recommend this method. As long as you keep paying the 10,000 a month your minutes will also role over. I'm happy I pay significantly less than most people when it comes to phones. Any phone company will offer this kind of pay as you go plan, You just need to have/buy a phone. Actually I have like three extra phones here so if you need one...

Hi all, I know this is a bit off-track, but I have a prepaid phone and got it before I even had an ARC. The accepted my passport/visa as proof. Is there a way that I can change from prepaid to contract? I paid 70 000 for the phone and it's a great phone, it just sucks as I can't send messages longer than 80characters and internet is expensive (apparently).

I pay a monthly charge and it ranges from 30,000 to 40,000 depending on how many minutes I use. I much prefer it to prepaid because I don't have to worry about refilling my minutes!

They range from company to company. You have to pay so much for the phone and a start-up fee. Then they range in price depending on usage a month. They can range from about 10,000 to 40,000 on average. If you plan on using it a lot and whatnot, a plan might be nice.

I opted to go with a two year contract with a smart phone. It's only 55,000 a month for 300 minutes, 200 texts, and unlimited internet. I think it is worth it personally.

I don't use my phone much, but I just want to know that I'm receiving every text message sent to me. So there is a 10,000 a month plan, no contract required, just have to buy the phone, and I'll receive SMS and MMS messages no problem?

If so, where do you recommend I go to get this?

I have a contract with LG. The contract is for 1 year and if you leave before then you have to pay the rest of the year's monthly fee. The monthly fee is 10,000 plus I pay 1000 more a month for half price calls to other LG phones. This doesn't inlcude any minutes or texts.

I don't use my phone much except to talk to my husband a bit and my bill is always less than 20000 a month.
