My Best Power Point Game
« on: April 18, 2011, 09:28:56 pm »
Hi! I made this game based off of Cranium or something like it.
I have a dice the students roll that chooses the category for them
and then their team has to be the fastest to get the correct answer.
The only tricky part is hiding the drawing and acting categories from
the audience and letting the people doing them see it. It's been nothing
but fun for me. Hope it works for you.

this is an awesome ppt! a great idea to make this. I LOVE cranium so this'll be a blast to play with the students.

just a couple things: the slide with Woody from toy story - the title says "clay" I assume this should say "Who?"
and superman is from Krypton, and lives in Metropolis :P

i cant wait to see my students act "sandwich" hahahaha good stuff

This is really a great game. As hard as I try I am NOT creative like this.

A question - I REALLY have no idea who the speed skater is! HELP!!!! Who is he? I want to play this game this afternoon.

Major score! I just had one of my co-teachers suggest that my very serious, "let's actually learn some English" lesson was boring, and that I should play a game instead. :)
Thanks for sharing, I look forward to using this!

I think you divide the class into teams, teams roll a dice whatever number it lands on it corresponds to the key on the side
1=quiz
2=draw etc etc
then they answer, draw or act and get points
 ;D

Great work on this powerpoint! You've also saved me from my afterschool class too!

One question though, some of the buttons on the main page don't appear to be working for me (I click a green, yellow or blue square and nothing happens), any idea how I can fix it?

Trying to figure out how to hide the act and draw section from the class. I use a projector which takes time to load in my class so I can't turn it off too easily. This looks awesome though! Gonna figure out a way to do it anyway tomorrow :-D.

Thanks for this game. It looks great. I am having some problems with it though, when I click on the first button (top left) in the categories, Quiz, draw, words and who, they all go to the first question of the quiz category. They also don't disappear after clicking them.

Can you help please?
