Here is a ppt to go with the Peter Pan Role-play

I used the Peter Pan story and inserted some creatures made with two animals.

When Peter says: "Huh?  What's that?" I show the students a picture of a zebra-fish, lion-tiger, etc.

They must say the animals names after repeating the key expressions.  It helps if you play Peter.  I made a felt hat that went over extremely well.

I had the Ss make there own creatures on small pieces of paper combining two animals.  It was a lot of fun.  The students would have to say "What's that?" from the Peter Pan dialog and the student would answer back.  The best combinations win candy stickers.  Here's a slide I used to get them thinking and the dialog with some images attached.

Here is a ppt I created for the story time part of the lesson.

I am going to have the students do their role play using different characters and an animal of their choice (from a set of masks I have).

This is a simple PPT I made to review the Story time for role play. It is too hard for the kids to use a script so we had each group pick their charecters. Then the peter pan stood and repeated their line then the Wendys, tinkerbells, etc. Then we voted who was best Peter Pan, Wendy, etc. It was pretty good way to introduce them to the role play!

Here's a ppt I made for the 'Introduction to other cultures' part of Story Time. It goes over the difference between Korean, Arabic and Western names and it explains why/when/how we use Mr/Mrs/Miss

Translation was checked by my coteacher so it should be kosher!

Edited to add a few slides. There's one slide of me so please remove it and add one of yourself! I got the kids to make their own 'Arabic' and 'Western' names and practise 'What's your name? My name is.....'

Just a pretty dialogue PPT and handouts for the kids to do role-play.
Since they're low, I have them repeat and practice in a bunch of different ways (all Peters, all Wendys; actually do it in order; as fast as possible; each kid from the group says one line; etc).
