3 cushion billiards. i'm an avid hiker, and i'd like to take up rock climbing again, but i think the closest place is an hour away from me. so, since summer is coming i'll probably just keep hiking. however if anyone wants to teach me and is chungcheongnam-do, send me a pm. i've also begun to learn how to civilly argue with people on the internet.

1st year - Korean alphabet (and that's about all the progress I made)

2nd year - Taekwondo (ended up stopping cuz the teacher was a bit of a creeper)

3rd year - Computer games. Baaaaaaaaaad choice - easy to come home and get sucked in.

4th year - Rekindling old hobbies. Bass guitar, weightlifting, jogging.
Thinking about a joining a squash club in my town, but not sure if the language- barrier would be too much.

...Learning Hangul! I've always wanted to be able to speak another language well (GCSE French doesn't count).

I started taking lessons after work at YBM in Jongo.  Good place to meet new people too.

So far, just learning Korean. I'm also interested in starting a blog and picking up a physical activity like hiking. Hiking will definitely start picking up now that it's getting warmer!

Swing dance.

That's awesome! I'd love to find dance classes. Does anyone know of any in Ulsan?

Hot yoga, where did you find that? I would be interested in taking those classes but it is  unlikely for me since I live in a small town. I've taking on hand sewing and have made a wallet, purse, makeup bag and baby booties so far. It is quite relaxing.

People taking various martial arts - how do you understand the instructor? Is it just copy and follow everyone else?

I started learning a Korean instrument - Danso, but I gave up eventually. It was difficult.

Learning Korean.

Not a new hobby, but one I haven't done much in the past few years until now - playing video games.

I did Yongmoodo last year, it was a lot of fun. It's a physical activity to pretty easy to follow, once you learn your basic body parts and direction. Also, it helped the instructor learn the English equivalents so I didn't pay. On the down side, he used my photo as an advertising gimmick to attract students wanting to learn English!

I hate Korean beer so much that I started making my own. So I guess homebrewing is my current hobby. The beer I make at home is better than any beer I've had at a bar in Korea (and that includes the microbreweries like Octoberfest, Castle Praha and Craftworks).  ;D

Wow. You guys have inspired me.
I took up a new hobby and joined a club in Japan and it really made my experience great.
What should I take up now. I've always wanted to take up piano, but how do you practice? How do you get over the language barrier?

Took up scuba diving after moving to Korea. Best thing I've ever done. The underwater world is awesome and there's a potential career in it for the future.
