One Hundred Years of Solitude, by Gabriel Garcia Marquez - loved this book. Im currently reading satanic verses. so far , so good.

I am reading this book called "Middle School English" by William Roszell. I have all three volumes and they are enthralling. I mean these books have me on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what will come next.

finally got book 6 of Earth's Children Series "Land of Painted Caves" by Jean Auel. Been waiting for this for awhile. Just finished "Heaven Is for Real" by my high school wresting teammate Todd Burpo

I just noticed a few days ago that there was a new book out for that series. I thought it was finsihed ages ago. I'll wait to buy it though, since I'd prefer it in paperback like the rest of the series.

In the middle of The Girls: A Novel by Lori Lansens. It's a fictional autobiography of a Siamese twin whose head is connected to her sister. So far it's pretty good.

For those with a Kindle I recommend the Professor Vook series. They are short textbooks on a ton of subjects, and they're free!!

I know they're technically "Young Adult" books but I just finished the Hunger Games trilogy and it was awesome. I picked up the first book on a whim and ended up reading it all in one sitting. I then went and got the next two the very next day.

Two thumbs way up!

The Koreans. Its certainly not an academic book, but it is an interesting point of view none the less. The authors has lived/did live here for a long time, and he has an opinion worth hearing (even if it has a lot of holes in it).

I'm reading Of Love and Slaughter. I can't remember the authors name at the moment. The book is about 2 farms (that's owned and managed by best friends) that gets hit by foot and mouth disease. I'm not very far into the book but it looks promising!

I am reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The writing is quite flat, but the plot is beginning to pull me in -- I'm about a third of the way through. It's good enough for an unwind.
