You should know that it is definitely not the true story of his life though. It's a heavily fictionalised account for which he drew on his own experiences. Still great but it's far from autobiographical. Thanks for the heads up. I am in a few hundred pages tight now and could kind of tell some parts must of been fictionalized. But either way the man is an amazing descriptive writer and keeps you wanting to know what is going to happen next. Keep forcing myself to put the book down, I can already tell it will be one of those books I will not want to ever be finished with!Even if tons of it has been fictionalized, Roberts would still be a fascinating person to sit down with and hear some of the crazy stuff you know he has experienced! For sure! He probably gets questioned on it all the time. I'm guessing you've seen the picture on the sleeve and have seen that he'd be quite easy to spot anywhere. I'd love a chat with him too but I'd be afraid of just coming across as a groupie. I hope you enjoy the book!

Confederacy of Dunces was the best book I read all of last year. What a character! What adventures! What a city-scape!So sad the poor author never lived to see it's success and critical as well as popular acclaim!Ha ha the images of Ignatious pushing round his little hotdog van and the problems with his 'valve!'

In Incheon you can go to any Kyobo book store as they have a medium sized English book section [I picked up many a Malcolm Gladwell book there :)]. There is a Kyobo book store in the arts center area and I am sure there is one in Bupyeong too. However, if you want a better selection you need to travel to 'what the book' http://www.whatthebook.com/index.html in Itaewon. Also, there is a used book store called 'foreign book store' http://www.cnngo.com/seoul/shop/itaewon-foreign-bookstore
