That was very funny! I got most of the same lines thrown at me. I explained that I've been eating lava with chopsticks for years. If Koreans think their food is spicy they gotta do Thai or Lao grub. It'll kill them lol.

bwahahahhaa! This is me and my co-teacher:)  they asked me to go to the staff dinner about 10 mins before the end of school, and i said no i have plans with my boyfriend...and I'm vegetarian. It's good to know that many of us have similar experiences:) the robot voices are so perfect!

As someone who doesn't like kimchi, I confess I really enjoy the myth about it being too spicy for foreigners!

Me:  Sorry... I don't really like the taste.

Co-T:  Ahh of course. Foreigners cannot eat spicy foods.

I'm a KT though, my canadian NT partner really like kimchi,,,,more than I do!

It's quite amazing...

and plz know that not every Koreans like KIMCHI,, especially in younger ages!
