True or False/ 4 Corners Game
« on: April 26, 2011, 09:14:36 am »
Hello

This is a game I will play for the English Festival at my school. It is a survival game almost like a last man standing. My co-teacher decided the winner will be the 'King of the English'.  I didn't choose the name of the game.

Anyway, the game is divided into 3 parts.

Part 1
The students play a true or false game. In the room they will run to the correct side of the room. One side of the room being true and the other side being false. Any students who pick the incorrect answer will be eliminated from the game.

Part 2: 4 Corners Game
The students choose one correct answer from four of the options, A, B, C or D. These letters are located in each of the four corners of the gymnasium. If they think A is correct they run to the letter A. There is a time limit for each question. Any students who choose the incorrect answer will sit out of the game.

Part 3: Riddles
The remaining students will play a riddle game. Each student is given a board. The student will need to answer the riddle by writing the answer on their board.

Note:
There are a few bonus questions. The bonus questions reset the game allowing all the students who were eliminated by the previous questions to come back into the game.

For the first slide I've inserted the song 'We are the Champions' by Queen.
