I would like to share all of my files for this lesson. I hope they can be used in some way for the 2012 school year. Included are the following:
-Lesson warm up (riddles)
-Vocabulary ppt (including spelling)
-Period 2 review
-Period 3 review (fill in the blanks from the list of words above)
-Guessing Game (In groups of 3 or 4, students come to the front. One student in each group chooses the "Sorry, I Can't" sign, and the rest choose "Sure, I can." The other groups in the room have to guess who is holding the "Sorry, I Can't" sign. Each student with a sign asks the other groups "can you join us?" and is responded to with "Sure, I can" or "Sorry, I Can't" depending on who they think has the "Sorry, I Can't" sign. They can only say "Sorry, I Can't" to one student.)
-Game Show-type game (students choose their answer, and depending on luck achieve points or not)
