Amendment two: Posts or threads about religion or matters related are with the exception of providing links to the name, location, and times of officially recognized religious services may result in said post(s) being edited or thread being locked. The reason for this stance is that whilst freedom of expression is otherwise welcomed, such content is provocative and potentially inflammatory and moderators wish to prevent flamewars from occurring.  The requirements for the debate are clearly outlined in a sticky.  Please ensure you read them before participating.

Amendment three: Any and all threads and posts pertaining to the sale or rehoming of bought or adopted pets and animals are hereby banned.

An exception can be made if the pet is registered with a Korean animal charity (ex. Korean Animal Protection Society [KAPS], Animal Rescue Korea [ARK] - but not limited to these two) as being available for adoption, rehoming or fostering. A private message to a Level 2, or higher, moderator about this exception is necessary before the post can be allowed. The post must be accompanied by a link that demonstrates the animal's registration with one of the aforementioned Korean animal charities, or an equivalent.

Any posts that do not abide by these guidelines will be immediately deleted, and the poster will be warned. does not condone the practice of abandoning animals, and will not be held responsible for neglect, cruelty and any other harm that may befall the animal.

[1] The definition of harassing shall be understood as (but not solely limited to) intimidating, pressuring, verbal attacks or otherwise unwanted behavior against a person.

[2] Posts or threads pertaining to the selling of used pet-related accessories (including, but not limited to, pet carriers, collars, leads/leashes, etc) are allowed on the site, and will not be held to the same conditions as stated in amendment 3.

I would like to repost this as a reminder for everyone.  Offensive or harassing language WILL NOT be tolerated! Think twice before you post something questionable on here as we're sure you would like to retain membership on this site.

Also, and I hate having to guide others with threats and punishment, but posters who violate these terms will have their accounts deleted and acceess to the site banned.  It's a "three strikes" policy, and a number of posters have had warnings about language, about derailing topics, and about personal attacks.  If you have had several posts edited for language, or if you've been reprimanded about language, think very carefully before you decide to submit a post.

This doesn't apply to the large percentage of users who are helpful and constructive, but it needed to be said because of all the threads that start out or later become inflammatory.   This is first and foremost a teachers' resource, let's keep it that way.
