My grade 4s will be doing some of the review projects found after lesson 6.

The first one we did is the "song project" where they have to write their own lyrics to one of the textbook lesson songs.  We did lucky draw to determine which team got which song, and they had to write their lyrics on the handout (see attached), then perform it in front of the class with actions (with the textbook CD-rom playing only the instrumental part of the song).  It was actually a pretty big hit with my kids today.

Here's a review Pororo game for 2nd term. It's all according to the book EXCEPT one slide where I ask about a body part. I used images from the CDRom for the most part.

So this textbook is pretty much the bane of my existence. My 4th graders are pretty terrible to begin with but
 this ridiculous excuse for a textbook that treats them like idiots and doesn't challenge them in the least really doesn't help 

I've done a two page worksheet that reviews units 1 - 9.  There's a wordsearch with most of the vocab (no list, they have to see how many words they can find), writing practice, names of colours, weather, how much is it dialog and two sentences to put in the past tense. Hope this is helpful to someone!

OMG I couldn't agree more. AND it's inconsistent. Most of the lessons are dumbed down but some leap to the other extreme making assumptions of what the students already know but don't actually know, I especially see this a lot in the 3rd grade book where the chants go from really stupid and easy to too difficult.

Are you planning on doing one for lessons 10 and 11? Those (and lesson 5) are the only lessons that I actually like (at what they are attempting to teach).
