(Cameron Wood) Grade 3, Lesson 5 - "What's That?"

An introduction or practice PPT and two fun cartoon videos you can use to practise "What's this / that?" as a type of look and listen. I've also attached a hidden puzzle game, which isn't mine. Thanks to "wretchard".

The Pororo bomb game is a short game that I estimate will take 10-15 minutes.
The Spongebob bomb game is a longer version, which will take most of the lesson.
The Mario Pass the Ball game is a short game focusing on correct use of "a" and "an."

A video to practise "What's that?" "That is a / an ..." + animals.

What's this / that rock papaer scissor game good for 15mins maybe 20 at a stretch!!

Lucky wheel game that I adapted from lasts years lesson, As the key sentences are pretty limmited i just tried to find different ways of repeating the same information, I hope this helps anyone who is in need. It looks like this book is not used by that many schools.

And thank you for this thread! I didn't teach grade three last year so I have nothing for this book. This will save me the time of going through all of my stuff and finding what is relevant for these lessons as starting points.

tweaked (and simplified?) someone else's "zoom-in" guess the picture game (which worked surprisingly well for this lesson topic)

powerpoint bomb game - someone else's template that I filled in...

a re-hash of that mario pass the ball game from the first post (just cleaned up the pictures a bit?)

and a word search
