my lesson for week 1-didn't get to the dialogue game so just leaving that out altogether. stolen from other Waygooks-mostly chpt 5 of the j l haas book on the world of robots. Also the work sheet is missing some pictures when i saved it-so need to add in for the first part of the page.

Anyone got any ideas for chpt 5 to make it more interesting?i'll be having my open class using it!

Worksheet and a power point to accompany it. The worksheet has fill in the blank dictation, short answer, substitution drill, and a writing component.

My PPT for week 1 of Lesson 4. I have the students give me examples of verbs and nouns that they know and write them in columns on the board. Then I go around and ask them to make a sentence using the "Can you + verb + noun?" formula. With the next section, I give them a few obvious examples, then have them give the class incorrect information. That can get pretty silly, since they then take jabs at each other's personalities or looks.

Here's a powerpoint game I used as the activity to accompany the talk pages for Around the World. Be careful if you have an older computer at your school because the Kung Fu Panda theme can be a bit finicky. If it works, though, the kids LOVE it. Many thanks to its creator.

Standard Disclaimer: I made these lessons a while ago and I probably used some of previous posters' uploaded work. If you would like individual credit where I have used/stolen/butchered/altered to the point of unrecognisability your work, please message me and I will see to it.

Had to combine Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 for time/space quantum entanglement reasons

'Run for the hills!'
'They're coming from the hills, sir.'
'Run away from the hills! If you see a hill, run the other way!'
