Hey guys!  I was searching everywhere trying to find an activity for this chapter that wasn't the game in the textbook.  If I remember correctly, I did a search for "culture" or "Korean culture" here on Waygook and found this Korean Culture Jeopardy game.  It's amazing~!  I can't seem to find it again when I search, so I don't remember who created it, but thanks and credit go to that person!

I use the short PPT posted above (about 15-20 mins), then I take up the remaining class time with this game. I've included both a low-level and higher-level version. Enjoy!~~

p.s. - In the low level version, you can see 2 options for "how to play."

I have adapted some of the materials already posted so thanks to the contributors!

Due to exams I only used part 1 of this PPT so listen & speak & dialog is all on one.

Part 1 - magic eye warm up / introduction / listen & speak textbook / dialog and presentation / unscramble

Part 2 - warm up / review / textbook listening/speaking activity / pictionary

I made an additional dialog activity which could be used in part 2 as a review (attached). Each team gets a dialog with missing words and a team sheet. The exercise is to find the numbered missing words around the room. Then choose from the list the correct words for the dialog.
The reason I try and do it this way is they often cheat and fill in the blanks using their textbook. This activity means they cannot win if they don't work as a team to find the other words on the list as well as filling in the blanks.
