I made a Intro PPT and Pokemon Game PPT (thanks so much to the creator of the Pokemon template) for my after school 3rd graders. The book is too easy for them. So, I made the lesson about various sicknesses. I have a/I don't have a/Do you have a: cold, fever, toothache, stomachache, headache and sore throat. I also threw in pet and homework.

Here's a Ghibli game I got from a coteacher and modified.  I just wish it had the sounds from his version.

Period 1:
Guessing Motivation
-I used this after teaching the key expressions/vocab to the kids
Go Fish Game (Using the cards at the back of the textbook)
1. Ss will be in groups and each Ss will have three cards. The remaining cards will be in the middle.
2. Ss play RPS and winner goes first.
3. Winner looks at the cards, and asks "Do you have a ____." If the person they asked has the card, they say "Yes, I do" then give the card to the person who asked. If not, they say "No, I don't" then the winner will have to pick up a card from the middle.
4. The winner is the person with the most pairs.


Period 2:

Key Expressions Review with What's Missing review game
Three in a Row Game
1 Play rock, paper, scissors. Winner goes first.
2. Winner chooses a box and asks "Do you have a ----?"
3. Partner looks to see if it is an O or X. O- Yes, I do. I have a ---. Here you are. X: No, I don't. I don't have a ---.
4. Ss try to get the most 3 in a row.

Pretty sure my school is the only one that using this textbook anymore. Anyway PPAP has swept the nation and it's perfect timing for this chapter. I combined bryze's pass the pen template and the clipart from the what's missing? ppt above. Enjoy!
