Here is my little contribution for the review...

It was done quickly so it's a multi game but it's simple....

Added travelinpantsgirl's guess the picture to a bomb game to review.

Another bomb game, I know, but I hope this helps someone.

Made a list of the key sentences and phonics review for the kids to study from.
Get them to listen and repeat with you once or twice, then take it home to study with.

So i'm trying to use this bomb game. But the questions that, when answered, take you to the mystery box page, you get the result, and click home. When i click "home" from there, all of the mushrooms are back up, even the ones that have been clicked. Is that happening to anyone else? is there a way to fix it?

I made a review ppt to review key sentences for lessons 1-6.
Many slides are modified versions of past ppts, some I've made on my own.
Thought this would help those who may have some extra class time.
I'm gonna use this before we play the review game.

What does the fox Say Review of Lesson 1-6.
I had to recalibrate some slides.
Big ups for the original creator of this game.

Yes! It happened to me too! I even tried pasting the content of the slides onto another Mario bomb game with the same number of mushrooms, but it still did it. (Weird, since it was literally just the questions and answers I pasted, not any of the slides or hyperlinks.) So I decided to just click the mushrooms in order from L to R and top to bottom during the lesson, and magically, it worked like normal. Dunno what on earth is up with that!

We're not continuing with the book until next semester, so I put together some phonics materials.

Here's a tongue-twister exercise to practice pronunciation. It uses vocabulary from the book to create strings of words that start with similar letters, like P and B. We walked through it together as a class, then I had volunteers try to say them as fast as they could.

I also put together an ABC Phonics Song using the vocabulary from the book. Instead of singing the alphabet, they replace each letter with a word. (Apple, Bus, Cup, Dog, Egg, Fork, Game...) We sang it to the tune of the Toonbo/cute pink hamster ABC song. I separated each section of the song where there was a natural break, which isn't exactly like the original song. So sing it to yourself a few times to get a feel for it before teaching the kids.

More phonics activities to come when I finish them.

Also, if you want some more alphabet games:

Divide the class into teams and give each team a set of alphabet tiles/cards (we have little square magnets). I time them to see how long it takes them to put both upper and lower case alphabets together. They can compete against other classes too. Just choose a team whose score was in the middle somewhere (i.e. 3rd out of 5) and use that time as the class's time.

Another game involves writing letters on the board. Divide the class into two teams and have them line up on opposite sides of the room. The first student runs to the board and writes the first letter. They pass the marker to the next student, who writes the next letter, and so on. I let them correct each other by erasing only one letter and changing it. The teams should be silent, otherwise it defeats the purpose.

Musical Chairs

When the music stops, learners must find a chair to sit on, there must be one less chair than the number of students. The learner who does not have a chair must answer the question and is out. Remove another chair and continue until there is a winner.

This uses material from lesson 1-3

My students will have a test of lessons 3 & 4 next week, so I prepared this as a refresher.
(Thanks to the people whose materials I used to make these!)

Lessons 1-6 Review PPT with game instructions. All content is mine except for the lesson 6 Alien Review (by Bella85). I basically just took all my intro PPTs and smushed them together in a shortened format.

At the end, there are explanations for all of the pictures in the board game from the book. Leave it up while students are playing the game so they don't ask you a million questions.

Strangely enough... I was asked to create speaking and listening tests for lesson 5 + 6.
Just thought I'd post them in case someone else could use them.

Yet another alphabet game. (For those of us whose students didn't come into the 3rd grade already knowing it.)

This one works like the Baskin Robbins game. Break the class into small groups and make sure they have lined paper. The first person can write 1, 2, or 3 letters (lower case is best, but you can do rounds of both). The next person continues where they left off, writing 1, 3, or 3 letters. the student to write Z is the loser. We gave 10 points to the survivors and 5 points to the student who was "out" because my co-teacher doesn't like feelings to get hurt. And in reality, even the loser is doing work by writing letters so why not give them a few points.

Slides to support the book review game on page 80-81.

Review of all the pictures in the game: I print screened and grouped them into topic

Then slides 9 and 10 show how to play the game. 2 teams of 2. Make sure to show them that only the boxes on the top and bottom of the ladders/snakes means move and ladders are up and snakes down. Also, show them how the numbers go - like a zigzag cos I found some kids struggled with this (!?)
Mine were happy to play multiple times and got a point each time they were the first to the end.

Btw this is what each of the Korean phrases mean, in case you've not got a coteacher:

4: "뱀을 보세요" 를 영어로 말해 보세요: Say "Look at the snake" in English
5+40: 처음이로: Go back to the start
9+12+17+23+28: 뒤로 두 칸: Go back 2 spaces
25: 앞으로 세 칸: Go forward 3 spaces
29: 1등과 자리 바꾸기: swap places with the player in the lead
35: 한 번 쉬기: miss one turn (I THINK)
37: 꼴찌와 자리 바꾸기: swap places with the player in last place
42: 한 번 더: one more time (roll again)

Also got a pass the ball game on there where 2 balls are passed and when the music stops the two students with the balls stand up and say the lines of the picture on the board. Didn't get time to play this but may be useful for someone.

Here's the shuffle cup game that the previous person posted but I changed it into a review game for lessons 1-5. I put the students in groups (there where 5 groups and everyone got to go 3 times) and  I changed the bomb to mean no points, and I allowed to students to have one more turn if they picked the bomb. My students loved the game!
